How To Apply

Students from Globe, Hayden-Winkleman, Miami, Ray, San Carlos, and Superior High Schools:

Contact your high school counselor for an application and assistance with the necessary documents listed below. Your high school counselor will assure you are on track to graduate, and have room to fit one of the CVIT programs into your high school schedule before sending your application to CVIT.

Home-schooled and online students:

Required Documents

  • Completed online application to Gila Community College

    • Upon completion, GCC will provide the student with their nine digit student ID number which must be included on their application.

  • Completed CVIT application

  • Statement of Intent

    • Student should write a statement describing why they are interested in joining the CVIT program. Details such as career interests, personal background, post-secondary plans, committment to college coursework, or any other relevant details may be discussed.

    • The statement should be one page or less, typed and double-spaced.

  • High school discipline records

  • High school attendance records

  • Unofficial copy of high school transcript

  • Gila Community College Admission Form

  • Gila Community College High School Enrollment Form

  • CVIT Release of Student Information

All documents should be turned into the student's high school counselor or CTE representative on their high school campus.
