Electrical Installation

Individuals working in electrical instllation may be responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Their duties might include installing or replacing wiring and other electrical components, troubleshooting electrical issues to handle repairs and communicating with clients to establish job details and related costs.

Our Program

The Electrical Installation program prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills to install indoor and outdoor residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, and associated power transmission lines. The program includes instruction in electricity, safety procedures, wiring, insulation and grounding, schematic blueprint interpretation, equipment operation and maintenance, and applicable codes and standards.

We are proud to partner with Freeport-McMoran to offer instruction in this high demand, high paying field. This program is currently available to 11th and 12th graders. Students who excel in this program may be eligible for a paid internship with Freeport-McMoran.
