Mike O'Neal is responsible for creating Career and Technical Education opportunities for high school students from the San Carlos, Miami, Globe, Superior, Kearny, and Hayden communities. Mike has been serving students in public education for 28 years. His career in education began and continued for 22 years at Globe Unified School District as a Coach, CTE teacher, CTE Director, and Dean of Students. He then joined the CVIT team in 2017 as the Executive Program Director and became the Superintendent in 2020. He earned all of his degrees from Northern Arizona University beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education,  a Master of Vocational Education, and a Master of Educational Leadership. Mike is a lifelong resident of Globe, Arizona, and brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to CVIT. During his free time, he loves traveling with his wife and experiencing the outdoors on a snowboard, riding a mountain bike, and hiking.
